Hi Nathan. Thanks for previously featuring Spiceworks on your blog. Sites like yours are essential for spreading the word to small and medium businesses about our free IT management software.

I wanted to give you a heads up that we're currently Beta-testing Spiceworks 4.5 which you and your readers can download and try out here - http://community.spiceworks.com/topic/81484.

If you decide to test it and write a review, let me know so I can promote the post on Twitter and in the Spiceworks online community. The same offer applies if any of your readers host an IT-focused blog and decide to post about Spiceworks.

Let me know if you have any questions and thanks again for your support.

We have been using Spiceworks for almost 2 years now and could not be happier. Our only concern is that we are reaching the published limits on how many devices Spiceworks can effectively monitor (~250?). Even if we decide to use a different software to replace parts or all of Spiceworks, the community forums built around Spiceworks are worth more than the software. If you are having an issue with just about any part of technology management, you can probably find an answer there. If not, ask the question and I bet you'll have an answer within a day (or you'll find a group of IT professionals with the same issue!)

If you really want to have fun, attend the annual Spiceworks Conference, called SpiceWorld. They know how to treat you right!

I've been using it for about 6 months and have loved every minute of it. I even set up the help desk and talked my boss into switching to over to use it full on. The new 3.5 (which is still in beta) should be even better. Looking forward to some of the new features... especially the bandwidth monitor.

Hey, good stuff!

I've been kicking around the idea of trying this out at work for ages... now that I know someone that has done it and seems to not hate it I reckon I'll have to find the time to actually pull the trigger. :-)
